History of Concept
In the Competitive-Engineering book Tom described many possible Ranges (Failure-Range, Catastrophe-Range, Success-Range, Acceptable-Range, Total/Absolute-Range) together with many Levels (Goal, Fail, Catastrophe, Disaster, Ideal, Streatch, Wish etc,). When teaching and in actual usage it became a little too much for most people. So we simplified it to Intolerable-Range, Tolerable-Range and Success-Range together with Tolerable-Limit and Goal-Level.
This Concept entered by Dorota.
