Don't miss out on my major contribution for the year so far to Requirements theory. The authentic original is burried in a Comment on Tom's blog onRequirements Completenes.... In due course, I expect I'll create a wiki page for Requirements,:::::" class="wiki wikinew text-danger tips">Comprehensive Requirements, if nobody gets there first.

If you have come here by following the link from my LinkedIn profile, then welcome! Please let me know (0 admissions so far!). The Default user setup on this website does not (or used not to) allow me to email you. I have changed mine so you can email me, but I can't reply unless the User Messages section of your User Preferences has the "Allow Messages from Other Users" checkbox checked.

While researching the application of economic theory to systems Engineering, I have become aware of the Concept of Real Options. I'll put some links to interesting websites on that page.

I am fascinated by Stakeholders" title="Stakeholders" class="wiki wiki_page">Stakeholders and their Requirements. As a practising Requirements and systems analyst, I seem to have no difficulty recognising either. But from a theoretical standpoint, I find both concepts ill defined. My fundamental belief is that an Elementary Requirement must be a single person's singular view. By definition, this renders both consensus and compromise Requirements Complex. Or, if you prefer, the Process of achieving a consensus or compromise is part of solving the problem rather than clarifying or refining the Requirement. If sufficient interest in this topic becomes apparent, I have a number of thoughts that I might be encouraged to develop further.
