Examples

Usage 1: The Generic symbol is used in place of unknown, undetermined or uninteresting specific symbols of Attribute Priority or character; such as any Benchmark (example ---~lt~~lt~--) or target (example ---->---).

Rationale: to avoid being more specific about the Benchmark or target Type.

Usage 2: The vertical line (“|”) can be used in both keyed and icons. It can be used at one or more points on the Attribute arrow lines (---->O---->) to indicate Levels of the attribute. (O----|-----|-->).

It can be used to indicate “no specific type” of Benchmark or target.

Or it can be used with a supplementary text indicating Type of Attribute Level, such as “Goal” or “Wish” Level.

Example:
O----|Goal [[SF, Next Year] 30%-->
