Examples

For each individual Design-Idea (Architecture X, Package Y and Service Z), the Percentage-Impacts for all the Performance-Requirements are summed. This gives an Idea of the total contribution that the Design-Ideas each make relative to one another, towards satisfying the Stakeholder Requirements.

Notes

A Sum-of-Benefits is used together with the associated Sum-of-Costs *128 to compute a “benefit to Cost ratio” for a Design-Idea. This is useful for evaluating “designs” and “steps” against their alternatives.
