Notes
1. Sponsors contribute, or are willing to contribute, Resources towards the achievement of System change. The Resource can be of a variety of types, such as financial Budget, people, materials, reputation, or vocal support. The support can be limited to political or managerial power. They are one Type of Stakeholder.
2. Non-sponsor Stakeholders have some interest in the System outcome, but they do not inject Resources into the activity.
3. System change can have more than one sponsor.
4. Identification of the sponsors in a specification is useful, in order to find out whom to go to, in order to get continued or increased Levels of support/Resource. It sends a signal to specification readers that these are the people they are dealing with, and should Aim to please.
