Notes
Case [[Microsoft]Microsoft used a large incremental step of about 25% to 33% of a project, and of 6-10 weeks duration as what they called a milestone. The milestone step contains everything necessary of components and Quality to, in theory, deliver to customers. Early milestones contain the most critical components[[Cusumano95]. We consider the Microsoft milestones to a type of Evolutionary Mega-Step.
