1. The Process to do the evaluation is assumed to be SQC, but other Processes to determine the Quality Level could be used.

2. Use of sampling will dramatically reduce the evaluation Cost, time and effort, at the expense of a mild decrease in accuracy and Credibility.

Rationale: The reasons for collecting data on the Cost of SQC are as follows:
• to ensure that SQC is cost-effective; and that the savings sufficiently outweigh the
evaluation costs
• to reduce the costs to a minimum, and
• to motivate us to use inexpensive methods such as sampling.
