Note 1. A Document may be printed on paper or stored electronically and displayed on a screen or on paper. Document types include absolutely any readable information including machine-intelligible artifacts like computer source code and test scripts. A Document does not have to be easily readable by unaided humans.
Note 2. All “Documents” are not necessarily any kind of System “Documentation” (specification), in the conventional (“stuff designed to describe something”) sense of the word. Nor is all “Documentation; in the form of Documents. For example a real machine, Prototype, or pilot organization, can be used as “Documentation” of something. But this information (that machines or organizations have) is not in the form of a written Document.
