Value Management Experience Workshop

Learn by doing - Value-Project-Management

A 3 day practical workshop, using Value-Project-Management Methods.

-Value-Requirements (Quantify and Measure Stakeholder-Values and Product-Values)

-Value-Decisions (Architecture/Engineering)
-and Value-Delivery (Agile estimation, delivery and tracking of quantified value to Stakeholders.

There is no better way to learn Competitive Engineering (Value Project Management) than to use the methods in a playful competitive environment. You will become an expert at using Value Decision Tables, to optimally find and execute Solutions (Value Delivery Cycles), Defining Product-Values that again will satisfy the Stakeholder-Values. In this workshop, you will be able to practice the various Competitive Engineering methods, translate them into Action, and learn how to use them to beat your competitors.

to compete and survive? During this intensive 3-day workshop, where you and your team will learn competitive Value-Project-Management. Finding Stakeholder and Product Quality Requirements, use quantification techniques to Measure your progress, and engineer and build a robot using real hardware and software. Each robot competes head to head with other robots developed by other teams.

The workshop teaches how to:
- identify and specify quantified Stakeholder-Value Requirements and Product-Value Requirements, Function Requirements and Solution Constraints;
- use Value-Decision-Tables to: find, evaluate and prioritize Solutions with the highest value to Cost ratio;
- organize the Solutions into Value-Delivery cycles and select the most effective ones for implementation;
- execute Evolutionary cycles, including: developing, integrating, testing, delivering, learning and Changing the Solutions/Evo-Cycles so they optimally satisfy the Requirements;
- motivate team members to Work towards satisfying common Requirements;
- connect technical ideas to Product-Value and Stakeholder-Value Requirements, and then Work back to the technical ideas, and modify them so they become more useful in satisfying the Requirements.

Reliability

Scale: mean time between Failure.

Status [Evo-Step 7] 70 sec.

Tolerable [Evo-Step 9] 114 sec.

Goal [Evo-Step 9] 200 sec.

Failure: def. as: not able to return to base.
